Cold Hawaii at the Master Student Seminar

The organisers of the Master Student Seminar have partnered up with Cold Hawaii for the Event Management case at the Master Student Management Game.

This case will look into how a group of dedicated local people managed to transform Klitmøller, a small fishing village on the outskirts of Denmark, from an unknown windy beach to the famous surf spot – ‘Cold Hawaii’. ‘Cold Hawaii’ is situated in Northern Jutland, 10km south-west of Hantsholm and 17km north-west of Thisted and about 100km from Aalborg. Here the North Sea to the west sends the Atlantic swell from Iceland and the Faeroe Islands toward the beaches, which provides great surfing conditions.

If you find your way to the beaches of ‘Cold Hawaii’ on a mid-September day you will find them crowded with some of the world’s best windsurfers, ready to challenge the forces of nature waiting at the sea.
