Conference Venue

 

The venue of the 20th EASM Conference will be at UCN Mylius Erichens Vej, which is located in the eastern part of Aalborg, approximately 3 km from the city centre.

The UCN Campus is a modern educational centre with all the facilities necessary to host a successful and inspiring international conference for delegates from Europe and beyond.
 

The main building of the campus was designed in 1961 as part of an architectural competition, which was won by the architects Nils Andersen og Salli Besiakow. The buildings are still one of Aalborg’s most fascinating architectural creations.
 

The inspiration for the UCN comes from the Finnish architect Alvor Aalto, who has designed, Kunsten, the venue where the EASM 2012 Opening Ceremony will take place. In 1994 the Campus was expanded and rebuild and today it is used as an educational centre for UCN’s social educational programs. The venue will facilitate the professional program of the conference and will be inspiring and motivating surroundings for the EASM 2012 in Aalborg, Denmark.
 

A free shuttle bus service for all accredited delegates will connect the official conference hotels in Aalborg’s city centre to the conference venue at UCN Mylius Erichsens Vej.
