Is Aalborg a safe place to live and how friendly are the local people to foreigners?

Aalborg is a progressive Danish city! It has lots to offer in terms of cultural and community activities and it has a beautiful location on the Limfjord. The crime rate is very low, and students are welcomed warmly by locals and other students. There are many international students to be seen around the city. Danish people have a very good command of English and are very friendly if you ask them for assistance.

 

 

What kind of weather should I expect in Aalborg during the year?

The weather in Aalborg can sometimes be unpredictable. However, during the summer months it can be warm and sunny. In general, the climate is considered mild and it is moderated by the effects of the warm Gulf Stream. January and February is normally the coldest time when the temperature can be below the freezing point at night and with occasional snow.
