The construction industry is seeing great development, and influences from abroad mean that educational institutions and businesses must constantly stay moving and develop new knowledge and possibilities.
That is why optimum knowledge is created through collaboration with the business community. This knowledge is the result of mutual respect, interest and discussions.
On the Architectural Technology and Construction Management programme we are aware of this, and that is why we have ongoing consistent business contact.
This means that students can create their own networks of possible partners and future em-ployers.
Our co-operation has starting points in many different relations and themes as well as the needs of the construction industry at any given time. There may be short term or long term relations.
For instance we have had a 20 week innovative collaboration with a staircase manufacturer. The results of our collaboration are new concepts, possible patents and jobs.
Another result is consistent focus on construction management. During his studies, one student built close relations to a large consultancy and the results were a student job and later, permanent employment.
