Architectural Technology and Construction Management

Want to learn everything about ECO-Architecture in a digital design world?

Eager to learn how to design, plan, construct and manage complete building projects from inception to completion?

With a professional Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Construction Management (ATCM) you have the opportunity to become an extremely valuable asset to architectural and con-struction companies in a world where governments are enforcing major reductions in the allow-able energy usage in a building.

The learning process

The stimulating Architectural Technology and Construction Management learning process involves studying as a member of a project group where the group designs the project documentation in di-gital form for: 1) client approval 2) planning permission and 3) construction.

Real life projects vary in difficulty starting with single family houses in the 1st semester and end with four storey commercial buildings or large sports halls, giving a wide and varied understan-ding.

Realistic working environment

Working in groups in a digital media simulates a realistic working environment and qualifies the student to go directly into modern Architectural, Design or Construction companies.

Our students are also valuable employees for local authorities, insurance companies and edu-cational centers. Alternatively this bachelor also gives opportunity to study for a Master’s degree.

The Architectural Technology and Construction Management study gives knowledge in archi-tecture, load bearing analysis, construction, digital drawing techniques, advanced digital manage-ment techniques, technical services, energy calculations, passive design technology, planning and management.

Working in project based teams gives valuable knowledge in communication techniques and per-sonal development processes.
