On the Design, Technology & Business (Graphics) programme you can choose between three electives.
You can choose your elective between an array of different electives that are established and offered by the school.
What the electives will have in common, is that they live up to the overall goals of the education and are in line with trends and demands in the business community.
This means that the electives may vary with each academic year.
As a student, you will get the opportunity to work in depth and achieve knowledge about specific matters within your selected area of study.
Your final exam project will qualify you to combine theories, working methods and practise-related problems.
Why choose packaging design? Because good packaging design makes a difference! In this subject we are very into “Pack Spotting”… as a student of this subject, it is important that you are constantly updated when it comes to inspiration and new ideas for packaging.
In practical terms, “Pack Spotting is about achieveing the competencies to translate new trends into something that creates value for the product and the end user. We always work on specific tasks for and from the business community".
You will achieve knowledge about how 3D is used in the graphics trade for illustrations in print and production of presentation materials. How 3D is used for marketing or visualisation of experiences.
You will gain thorough knowledge and competencies in 3D working processes. This subject lets you immerse yourself to be able to enter into working relationships with 3D graphics artists and or become part of the production yourself.
You will get tools for working with branding and lifestyle in an over-communicated world that is increasingly becoming more and more fragmented and where new generations grow up with new and changing media and mdia habits as well as new attitudes towards consumption.
You will be introduced to storytelling, sensory branding, life phase segmentation and experience economy.
In practise you will work on preparing press releases, e-communication, media planning, setting up a blog and a website.
