Graduates must be able to analyse and plan financial tasks and perform financial control for manufacturing, commercial or service companies in national and international markets.
With an AP Degree in Financial Management you must also be able to perform specialist work for banks, savings banks, building societies, public institutions and real estate agencies and work as a property administrator.
Financial knowledge and thorough knowledge of monetary functions and a flair for numbers combined with a good personality, managerial potential are all important elements.

You may continue on the Financial Management & Services programme as described below, however, you should be aware that the Financial Management & Services programme is Danish-taught only and you must be able to follow lectures in Danish.

With an AP Degree in Financial Management, you may start on the internship on the 5th semester of the Financial Management & Services BA Degree programme. However, before doing so, you must have participated in elective round A and passed the tests pertaining to it.
If you have 6 to 12 months of work experience in a relevant sector in addition to your AP Degree in Financial Management, you may start on the 6th semester of the BA Degree programme of Financial Management & Services. In this case, you must have studied the electives of elective round A and passed a special internal examination before the end of the 6th semester.
The BA Degree programme of Financial Management & Services is characterised by several electives: Electives A and B concern the following specialisations:
The cost for an elective in Elective round A is DKK 1550 and payment must be made in cash to the study secretary upon registration where you must also hand in the registration form which you can download here (PDF in Danish).
With an internship agreement on hand and after having passed Elective Round A, you will be able to start on the 5th semester of the Bachelor Degree programme in Financial Management & Services where you will be starting on an internship right away.

With an AP Degree in Financial Management you can also take an entrance examination in several business schools and universities across Europe and the United States. You may either study for a single year to achieve a Bachelor Degree or start on a Master of Business Administration or Master Degree programme.
