Team effort

A team of students and staff, with Anita Lindkvist Nørbjerg in front, are working on a daily basis to make sure the dream of a healthy UCN Technology and UCN Business can be realised.

To spread the health concept to all locations and programmes at UCN Technology and UCN Business, students as well as staff have volunteered as Health Agents. Their most important task is to moti-vate, market and launch health initiatives.

You can become a Health Agent too and work to maintain, develop and initiate new health activi-ties. To be properly equipped for their job, all new Health Agents receive training and an Agent handbook. Quote from a Health Agent: “Often it is all about overcoming all the prejudices on health. It is not only about a healthy diet and 30 minutes of exercise a day. It is also about feeling good – feeling good socially, that is. The health project is a good way to create social activities with fellow students and staff. For instance we had a Nintendo Wii bowling competition, and it was so great that so many people took part and came toge-ther around sports in a fun and unusual way.”

The artistic approach

The Health Agents have received help from the North Jutland artist Birgitte Prang in connection with marketing the many initiatives on the three locations. Birgitte Prang has helped communicate the health concept in a new and exciting way.

For instance she has made three gigantic books in Danish and English for the cafés about health, and she has made a line of posters and post cards with interesting figures and texts. You can see examples of her works on UCN Technology and UCN Business' health website.
