PULSEN is a professional publication featuring contributions from students and staff at UCN Tech-nology and UCN Business published once a year.

 

Realistic subjects

PULSEN presents some of the issues, subjects and experiences that occupy students and staff and that they have worked with during studies and work.

The articles have a wide scope. They may be written in order to give a general account of a subj-ect or to convey a more detailed review of an aspect of a project. The author may also have found that one issue is of such interest that it had to be examined further.

Thus, the articles are an expression of what students and staff have found relevant and interes-ting in terms of conveying it to a wide audience based on their study and working experience.

 

Practise in conveying messages

Working on publishing articles in PULSEN also allows students and staff to practice conveying professional issues to other target groups than the regular participants in educational situations.

 

Knowledge sharing

Furthermore, we also want to contribute to knowledge sharing within and without the settings of UCN Technology and UCN Business.

In this way, the works of students and staff can inspire others and lead to renewed reflection on practices or awaken curiosity.
