My name is Marta and I come from Poland. This is not my first time in Denmark but I must admit that studying here let me to get to know this country better.

My choice of programme

I chose Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management almost accidentally. I was planning to study psychology in Sweden first but I did not manage to be accepted.

I have been studying English and Swedish for three years and I have no other idea besides psychology that I could study after it. My mum encountered an announcement on the internet web side saying that one of the Polish private language schools had an agreement with many foreign universities including UCN - University College of Northern Denmark. 

I went more into details and I found hotels and restaurants specialization within Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management. I found it very interesting; especially, because you are able to continue these studies in many other countries.

The academy arranges it for you. You are also very encouraged to do your internship after the first year of studies abroad and to take part in Erasmus exchange programme.

The rigth choice

I am happy that I chose this programme. I really enjoy hotel lectures because the teachers are really into the subject. They are very experienced and happy to share their knowledge with you.

After two years here I would like to continue my education in Sweden. I recommend you studying at UCN - University College of Northern Denmark. You do not really need to be the best at English language to be here. The only thing that you need is being open to people from many different countries representing various cultures. But dealing with it can be also very excited, trust me.
