An AP Degree in Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management provides a good basis for further education (top-up) in Denmark or abroad. Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management graduates may receive different kinds of credit for previous educational programmes and work experience.
The duration of a top-up BA programme is usually from 6 months to 2 years. The duration de-pends on the university and the amount of credit the student can achieve. There are many pos-sibilities, and UCN regularly makes agreements with new partner universities.
At UCN you can continue your studies on these top-up programmes:
In addition, we currently have a credit agreement with Roskilde University meaning that you can achieve a BSc. degree in 1 ½ years and we also have an agreement for 1 year of credits for the basic studies in social sciences.
Furthermore, we have a credit agreement with Copenhagen Business School which allows Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management graduates to obtain a MSocSc. degree in Service Management in 2 years. Moreover, we have achieved 1 ½ year's credit for the BA degree programme in Business Language & Culture (Hospitality Management) in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management graduates will receive 1 year's credit for the Econo-mics & Business Administration programme (BSc.) at Aalborg University, provided they have ma-thematics at level B and that they have passed an elective statistics course* giving them skills in statistics equal to the level held by Marketing Management students. You should consult the uni-versity in question for the required levels.
For students who have chosen the Hotel & Restaurant Management specialisation, we have made an agreement with Oxford Brookes University for credits for a BSc. degree, and for students with a Tourism specialisation, we have made an agreement for credits for a BSc. degree with University of Plymouth.
