Internship abroad

All our programmes feature an internship, but placements are assigned to different semesters depending on the degree programme. The internship may have a value of 15 or 30 ECTS points (a half or a full semester) depending on whether you are attending a short-cycle higher education programme, a top-up programme or a full bachelor programme.

Anyone can go on an internship

All students have the opportunity to go on an internship outside Denmark.

It’s your responsibility

UCN have delegated the responsibility of finding internships to the students since we consider it an important learning experience and a good way to learn to look for employment. In the event that finding an internship gets too difficult, we will try to help you.

Agreement and plan

Each programme has an internship agreement which must be signed by you, your internship supervisor and the company. The agreement contains learning goals, a plan for the course of the internship, what is expected of you and how the internship will be evaluated and implemented after its completion.

Financial support

If you want to apply for financial support through the Erasmus programme (for companies within the EU) or the C.W. Obelske Familiefond-foundation, please fill out the appropriate application forms at "International possibilities at UCN". Please make sure that you keep the deadlines and enclose all necessary documentation.
