At UCN we have an Erasmus Charter and a number of bilateral agreements with foreign universities meaning that we can send students to European and overseas countries to study for one semester during their study programme. Because of these agreements UCN students do NOT have to pay tuition fees at the foreign university and there is a possibility that they may receive financial support through scholarships from UCN.
Establishing new partnerships and bilateral agreements is an on-going process under our international strategy. Getting a sufficient number of attractive partners with English-taught programmes is a process to which UCN students can contribute by suggesting partners that have programmes similar to ours.
You can do a lot of preparatory work by going through our list of ”Sister Universities”. You can find out where to go and which English-taught programmes the universities offer that match the courses you would have had on your programme if you had stayed at UCN during the semester in question. Please note that we have a limited number of places with each university.
To be considered for a stay abroad you will have to fill out an application form at the International Office. The deadline is 1 March or 1 October respecitvely for stays during the following semester.
