Internship in Malta

An unforgettable experience

The 3 months period of my internship in Malta was definitely a very nice and unforgettable experience.

My first impression about Malta is that it looks exactly as I imagined sunny, beautiful landscapes and very nice beaches, and lots of tourists from all over the world. I accommodated with the Maltese culture quite fast, the people are friendly and everybody speaks English.

Mondial Holidays

The company where I did my internship is called Mondial Holidays. It is one of the biggest travel companies in Malta, it has 6 branches, and the most important one is in Valletta, the capital city.

I worked for 3 months in the Hamrun Branch. My first month of July was a very busy one, due to the peak season. During the 3 months I learned a lot of useful things in sales, accounts, marketing, administration, advertising and research.

Learned about culture

I am very happy that I had the chance to see how a company works from the inside and how important every department is. I met a lot of wonderful people, not only from Malta, which are still my friends and we keep in touch.

Now I see much clearer the difference between cultures not only in the behavior but also in business.

The Obelske grant helped me a lot with the costs and made the internship more pleasant.
