Personal profile

- A tool for developing “The whole person” at UCN Technology and UCN Business

Personal profiles

In collaboration with the "Intsights” consultancy, UCN Technology and UCN Business offer all 1st semester students to have their individual personal profile made, to support them in their develop-ment as a “whole person”. The results will be treated confidentially.

A teacher who is specially trained will give general feedback in class. All study programmes will furthermore work with different workshops according to the subjects that are relevant to the con-tents of the study programme.

A positive tool

With a personal profile, you can get positive insight into your own personality and knowledge of your strengths and weaknesses and thus get the best possible conditions for personal develop-ment, learning and future success.

The individual personal profiles and general feedback in class will also add to students’ obtaining an insight into different personality types creating the foundation for mutual respect and under-standing.

The acknowledgement and appreciation of the differences between people gives an incredible strength to individual students and to group work as well as giving the individual an idea of how to contribute positively to a team.

You can also use the personal profile for:

  • Improving your CV: Increase your value in the labour market by informing of your strengths and value in a team and by integrating quotes from the profile.
  • Job applications: You can write a good application based on this profile since an individual profile gives you sentences that you can use in your applications to student jobs, when applying for internships and when applying to future jobs once you have graduated.
